KidsGardening.org Awards 50 Youth Garden Grants

It’s always a joy when students and young people are introduced to our industry. That’s why it’s exciting to see 50 programs selected to receive this year’s Youth Garden Grants from KidsGardening.com. Those programs are located in 29 different states and will hopefully connect more than 6,700 youths to garden-based learning opportunities.

Along with those grants, five programs will receive a Container Garden Specialty Award from Crescent Garden and five will receive a Vertical Garden Specialty Award from Garden Tower Project.

I’d like to recognize the sponsors of this program, because without them, there’s likely not a whole lot to give out to make these connections to gardening: American Meadows, Back to the Roots, BB Barns, Bluestone Perennials, Cobrahead, Corona Tools, Crescent Garden, CropKing, Dramm, Epic Gardening, Epicor, Fine Gardening, Garden Tower Project, Gardener’s Supply Company, Mahoney’s, Meadows Farms and Woodland Tools.
